Dear Aunt Mary,
Received thy letter of Feb 18 the other day. In answer to thy question I can say that I believe I get all of thy letters. We are still in Brest and no prospects of leaving any time soon. Have not the slightest idea of when we will get home. It would probably save thee a lot of anxiety if thee would give up looking for me for a couple of months, at least.
Starting Monday night I am going to a night school here in town. Am going to take up Business English, which is supposed to consist of spelling, grammar, and letter writing. It will help to freshen up my mind and is a pretty good thing to take up. Also mean to take Bookkeeping or accounting. These will take up two hours three nights a week. I figured these were about the best subjects I could take out of those offered. Besides these about the only ones that were offered besides an agricultural course and some high school subjects.
As yet I have nothing definite formulated to do after getting home. Much depends on when I get home. Thee spoke of my might having to work for Harl this summer. Of course he has done a lot for us but at that I don’t see why he must depend on me.
Best of love,
