This is not the house I live in but one something like it with two stories. 17 of us came here today from Ft. Slocum. This is the National Army (Cantonment) for the New England States. The regiment I am in is an enlisted regiment, recruited from all over the U.S. As you may judge from the picture this camp has been cut out of a woods of second growth and we are about 40 or 50 miles NW of Boston.
